Ep 38 | The Beauty of Resilience: From Poverty to Purpose feat. Kirsty Jones
In this episode of the Every L podcast, I am joined by Kirsty who shares her inspiring story of promoting positive change despite facing discrimination and mistreatment from her employer due to her pregnancy. Kirsty, a trained barrister, was forced to resign from her job as the company refused to take her back part-time after requesting to work reduced hours. Kirsty also shares how growing up in poverty affected her self-esteem and confidence, as well as her passion for supporting young people through her charity work. Listeners are encouraged to reach out and support Kirsty’s charities if possible, as she aims to highlight the brilliance of young people and build their confidence through leadership programs.
