Ep 20 | Love, Sacrifice, and Vulnerability: A Recipe for Strong Relationships feat. Riccy Mitchell
Join me as I chat with Riccy who takes us through his journey of love and sacrifice. Riccy shares how he and his wife took a break from each other, what he did during that time and why it was necessary. He also offers his perspective on therapy and if it is worth investing in. Don't miss this inspiring story of overcoming hardships.
I hope you enjoy the conversation and are encouraged to know you are not alone in your struggles and even though it may seem like a setback at the moment it doesn't mean this can't be a setup for something greater

A bit more about Riccy:
Riccy Mitchell is a singer-songwriter with an acoustic soulful/indie sound.
Storytelling is at the heart of his songs; drawing songwriting inspiration from the likes of Donny Hathaway & Joni Mitchell, he blends the sonics of roots percussion with the anthemic sounds of western indie, effectively creating a cocktail of soulful tones centred around memorable acoustic guitars & pianos.
Riccy has been working as a writer for various UK artists and has spent time on the road singing for some of his peers, such as Emeli Sande, Michael Kiwanuka, and Jake Isaac, and was also given the opportunity to open for soul diva and legend Jocelyn Brown.
As self-proclaimed “Mr Polarity”, Riccy is toeing the line of NHS community support staff by day and a prolific songwriter & artist by night.
